Blue collar = Nixon, Worthington, Cannon, Seljaas, Bergersen...etc...
...seems like Rose has no problem loading up the roster with maybe too much blue collar. In years past blue collar guys like Logan Magnusson, Craig Cusick, Nate Austin, etc were relied on to play huge roles coming off the bench, maybe too big of a role as BYU rarely had adequate depth and had a huge drop in productivity when they had to go very deep into their bench.
Baxter is just a freshman and just trying to get back into the swing of things after a 2 yr hiatus from competitive play. he’ll be fine given time and opportunity. If anything, Rose needs to go to him a little more than he has been to speed up his learning process. We’re a game over .500, facing a much improved WCC where we will be likely playing .500 ball the rest of the way (maybe even worse given our annual penchant to have head-scratching let down games at home etc), Rose should consider this season a loss already and start looking at the younger guys on the roster to develop them and take some minutes from the many blue collar guys who have realized their ceilings already (Nixon, Seljaas, Worthington, Cannon, etc).
Give some more time to Baxter, Lee, Harding, etc.
