And if you ha e kids, you need a lot more than minimum wage to
get by. Assume you don’t have health insurance through an employer - and you have a child who needs pediatric care (as they all do) - min wage isn’t even goi g to come close.
Where I live on the west coast, $500 a month will barely get you a one room apt in the ghetto. Min wage wont cover that, utilities, normal expenses, transportation, and health care for kids.
