No clue. I don't have answers.
I just know that, statistically, educated parents have educated children.
And it seems undeniable to me that if your parents read to you, pay attention to you, encourage your education, and challenge you mentally, you're going to have an easier time succeeding than if your parents are drug addicts who ignore you every night and fail to drive you to school most days.
Exactly what we "should" do about that, I don't know.
