But coaches look at the game as 60 minutes, so if you haven't separated yourself
by the time a ref can cost you the game with a missed call, you blame yourself. You blame all the missed chances you had earlier to put the game way. The lead you blew, the botched 1st and 2nd downs before the missed call. You don't cry in the corner and whine that the ref lost the game for you. No coach does that. Only fans do that. Coaches know the game is decided over 60 minutes.

If you fail the final test of the year that's on you for not studying.

We can agree to disagree though. I do appreciate you at least giving me an explanation and your argument unlike others in this thread.

I'm not blind to the fact that yes it stands out more, since everybody remembers the end of games, and that yes it was a blatant missed call. But there were 58 minutes before and OT after for the Saints to adjust and they could not. The Saints coaches and players blame themselves not the refs.
