Factoring in the cost and looking at how affordable BYU-I is compared to the alternatives, you are dumb or being willfully ignorant. I was grateful to graduate with zero debt from BYU-I and in most years, I made money going to school there.
No shorts, curfew, no sports and the cold weather all mattered very little when I was in graduate school, again with a scholarship, and the other grad students were paying full price and had $20,000 - 40,000 in student debt from there undergrad and didn't get as good of an education as I got at BYU-I. I felt very blessed because of that University. The sacrifices were minimal compared with the rewards of choosing BYU-I.
