I don't have any issues with his 3pt shot. Its good enough to force opposing bigs to come out and guard him which opens up the lane for others.
I also don't have an issue anymore with his floater/fadeaway, again he hits just enough of them to give defenders fits.
My only issue with Yoeli is his lack of effort or intelligence on defense, both as a help defender and as an on-ball defender. He's just lazy and unconcerned about it for the most part.
I understand there's a concern about foul trouble but he still looks as bad in PNR situations as he did his freshman year. His gaff at the end of regulation at USD was unforgivable, not only was he out of position to help, but it doesn't look like he even tried to communicate to Emery about the back screen and just let him run right into it.
I would've been really angry if i was the coach.
