That's very respectable.
The fadeaway is an important shot that all front line players need to be able to make. The more he shoots those shots, the better he gets at them. He's hit a good number of them right when the team really needed some points.
I think people criticize his fadeaway more often than he takes a bad fadeaway. I would say basically the same things about his 3-point attempts. Right now he's hitting .326 on threes, almost right where a player needs to hit to make 3-point attempts of equal value as a 2 point shot at 50%. When he takes the occasional 3-pointer it helps spread the opposing team's defense and helps open up the middle for better passing lanes and drives to the hoop.
I agree on your comments about his defense and rebounding. Sometimes it just seems like he isn't working hard enough. Like he needs to gut it out more during certain stretches in games, both on the boards and on defense. It seems to me like he and the rest of the team in general should be better at blocking out on rebounds.
I know - I wouldn't be saying that if I was out there myself trying to do what he does.
These players all work very hard — I just want to see them work even harder.
