I ride, but will be very reluctant to do this until it’s established for a while
It’s new and both riders and cars will not be use to it.
The only time I could see me doing it would be stopped at a red light a few cars back and I would rather pull up and get it front of traffic. It’s much safer to get out front where you can see and react.
When I first got my motorcycle endorsement the highway patrolman advice was to always get into open space....speed a bit, go faster than the flow of traffic if needed, just get out into the open.
