It's just a rivalry thing. We go to the lowest possible mark.
If Utah hasn't had a winning season, we would say nothing about the division championship. We would be over the top about how long they hadn't won more than half their games.
Once that happened, if they had lost the bowl game, then we would talk about how they can't win a bowl game.
