Yes...that’s what makes it fun and shouldn’t be taken
Too seriously. But I have to say...this off-season is going to be epic.
BYU is looking good for next year. (I love Zach’s moxie...he will be special. CB will be brimming with confidence. I believe BYU will have some great wins next year. I’d love to see it. Fans deserve a winning product.)
Conversely, BYU fans will look at the close rivalry game last year. Utah’s two losses and see 5 draft picks leaving...and will automatically assume a huge down year.
That may be the case, UU could struggle next season, but the team believes they have top 10 potential.
It will be interesting to see of the two sharply contrasting views how it all plays out. That makes it fun for those who can take the rivalry lightly.
This I know. CB confidence in BYU will be exceptionally strong. By mid summer, BYU fans will chest thump the inevitability of the Holy War win and the impending downfall of Utah’s mediocre South champion claim.
It will remind us a lot of the 2011 off-season.
