Depends on perspective. To BYU fans...
This is a desperate attempt for validation. A program celebrating its mediocre peak pinnacle achievement....as it takes its long awaited seat as the Wyoming of the conference.
The Utah program and the coaches genuinely believe the conference championship is theirs to lose next year.
To them, this was an underachieving year...but a huge stepping stone.
We’ll see. The contrast in perceptions on CB vs. the Utah perspective makes for great theatre.
