Wife and I will be taking some long flights this summer, it’s time to upgrade from our 15yr old Monoprice sets.

My wife’s looking for something with a comfortable bar over her head, that bugs her after a few hours.

Bose. QC15 or newer. You can get very good quality used Bose headphones on Amazon or Ebay.

I've had the 1000xm3 and QC35. 1000xm3 is the clear winner.

Another vote for Bose QC35s. You won't beat them for NC or comfort.

I've owned both. Sony has a slight edge in sound quality, but not in NC.
