that was not how it went down. BYU blew it, no doubt, but not because Utah all of a sudden “got interested”. They were interested the entire time they just got outplayed for 3/4 of the game. I truly think the players BYU lost during the game to injury were the major difference. BYU did not have the depth to overcome those losses.

And I think BYU’s coaches deserve some blame for getting conservative a well as Zach deserving some blame for some freshman mistakes.

But it was certainly not a case of Utah “waking up” and then dominating. They’re a decent program but they sure aren’t that good that they can just cruise along for 3/4 of a game and then just “wake up” and it’s game over.
