That’s the Grand Total Revenue for each school when you look at each school’s individual numbers from the Equity in Athletics website for 2017 (most recent year available).

Best comparison because it’s the same folks crunching the government mandated reports for both schools. Yes, BYU is the 2017 Calendar year while for Utah it’s the 2017-2018 academic year.

And while the sources of revenue are significantly different (Utah gets that 20-30 million conference payout),its amazing what BYU has been able to do.

And yes, I think the PAC payout qualifies as “ouch” when compared to the other power conferences which I believe was the intent of the “ouch” comment. And looks to be falling further behind in forecasts.
