In the 90's and early 2000's? Absolutely. But USU is far better than they were
even 10 years ago. They are no longer the type of opponent we can beat 90% of the time. People seem to forget this. They have drafted more players in the NFL the past 10 years than BYU.
Since 2009- BYU= 10 drafted, USU= 12, Utah= 36, Boise State- 23. That right there illustrates why we are losing to our rivals. Bronco did a horrible, atrocious job at developing talent and getting guys to be NFL caliber. Our rivals did way better and as a result had more talent on the field. That is changing under Kalani though. We are starting to fill out our roster with more talent. In fact, I'll wager money that in the next 5 years Kalani get's more of his players drafted that Bronco did over the same span of their careers as head coaches.
