You're right. They would be great role models for my daughter and I'd be proud if she choose to be firm in her beliefs
like they are.
It's perfectly acceptable to recognize talent, success, work ethic and faith of those that don't share your exact morals and beliefs. Teaching your kids that it's only acceptable to have role models that share your same morals/beliefs, teaches them hate and only drives a wedge further between people.
