Everyone knows the academic standards for FB are not the same as the general admissions standards for BYU. The difficulty the coaches have when recruiting athletes is not setting kids up to fail.

This isn't USU where 13 of 15 "graduating" seniors major in University Studies and they basically have to sit through tutoring sessions and they will earn a degree.

This isn't Utah where you don't even have to be able to read to get your degree from classes taken at the Behavioral Health Tower.

Yes, BYU athletes get tutors. But the academic rigor of the classes they have to pass and the caliber of students they attend school with are significantly different than at many other schools, particularly the in-state Universities.
