BYU is a solid school, I am proud of the education I received at BYU but it is hardly comparable to an Ivy League education.  Especially not in terms of reputation (I believe BYU ranks somewhere in the 60's to 80's).  Non-Ivy insitutions that I would say are an Ivy education and reputation are: MIT, Stanford, Duke, ND, Vandy and several others.  BYU does not sniff the same area as these schools (yes I know BYU has a great accounting program, but discussing the University).
