Good train system between the major cities (Fez, Casablanca, Marrakech, Essouaria). Beautiful beaches in the south (Essoaria), incredibly different experience than Europe, but very safe. You can also hire a car and driver for pretty cheap and go out into the Sahara, ride camels, stay in a tent----lots of fun.

Very cheap compared to Europe, food is great and the experience is superb.
