Somewhere in the Near or Middle East I think would be really cool. The North Africa recommendations were really good. I love Morrocco and I've heard great things about Tunis and Algeria. Egypt would be awesome. And Israel would of course be awesome. All of those would be much hotter in June/July than Turkey or Greece. Cost in Airline miles is certainly much cheaper to go to Turkey which counts as part of Europe for most airlines.

Russia would be very cool, and it's much cheaper than Scandanavia which would also be awesome.

Alaska or Northern BC would also be good options.

I still think Peru or Ecuador that time of year would be an awesome trip. Two weeks in Cusco including the Inca Trail and a couple weeks based near Trujillo would be ideal. Or two weeks in Quito and two weeks in the Galapagos including a week long cruise.
