From the US, you can save time or money but not both.
Kiwi.com lists discount airlines, but you’ll likely have long waits at airports or red-eye flights.
Another alternative is to book a round trip ticket to any major capital of Europe and catch one of the discounters to Morocco.
Travel light. Most people are amazed how well-stocked the rest of the world is. You’ll need 1/2 the clothes you think you’ll need, and 2x the cash. Fewer bags and more cash equals low stress, high adventure.
Vueling, WizzAir, EasyJet, Jet2, Ryanair, Condor, Thomas Cook, Tui, Germanwings, Norwegian, there are loads of discounters and Morocco is served by almost everywhere in Europe.

A third option is to get to southern Spain then catch a ferry to Tangier and enter Morocco by sea.
