We got married. Hey family has a broad history of adult onset diabetes. Her mother and grandmother died from diabetes, her two brothers have it, as well as an uncle and two aunts. She had been gradually putting on weight and getting depressed over it... And then more and more weight. My cousin shared a book with her called Bright Line Eating... Here is the website:
She realized she was addicted to certain foods, especially sweets and breads, and now believes those foods trigger frequent snacking (candy, pastry, ice cream, etc.).
It was slow at first, but I was amazed at how those pounds just melted off of her by abstaining from those foods.
