I suspect you could have done a similar exercise with Utah and USC

Last year before the game. Of Utah’s players, how many actually had an offer from USC? A handful, Leki Fotu and Jaylon Johnson for sure, Maxs Tupai. Anyone else? Jordan Wilmore but he’s a freshman. The point is, despite this Utah cleaned USCs clock last year.
BYU may not have better individual players, but they were the better team for almost 3 quarters last year and can absolutely beat Utah.
