Yep. Avoid the mouth of the canyon at all costs. It is a mess right now. On
gameday it will be even worse.
Not going to share my planned alternate route, and hopefully all the dirty Yewts do try to take 800 to University and get stuck on 800 for 30 hours and miss the game... But with just regular traffic the backup extends to Harmons regularly. Gameday it will go back to Maceys or worse.
If you are a BYU fan, avoid that area. I am not kidding. If you don't believe me, give that route a test run at 5:30 on any other weekday leading up to the game.
