Assuming this is TIC.
In my view the most relevant metric to consider when evaluating a defense is points allowed.
Do you believe a defense could hold a team scoreless and yet be underperforming???

Not really. The knee happened after the offense had already destroyed the defense’s hope of affecting the outcome.

Look at points per drive then. It makes pace irrelevant because football gives each team basically the same # of chances
