Still only meaningful if it translates to points.

There was a time when people thought a pass-heavy offense wasn’t viable because of less important stats like total rushing yards and time of possession. It made BYU win though.

Bend-but-don’t-break might work well or not, but the best way to tell if it’s working is by the points they allow each time the other team gets the ball.
