conference race most years and you wouldn't have a "shot" at the conference championship most years after you lose a game or two just like being indy. That is the same for most teams currently in P5 conferences right now as well. The losses as an indy are what is stinging, not because we aren't in a conference. Look, I want to be in a P5 as well and think indy isn't sustainable from a financial perspective, but being in a conference alone isn't some magic recipe for having more "fun" as a fan. Winning is what matters most.
