Wow. I said the USC coach not using and leveraging an
advantage that BYU was giving USC cost USC the game. In the case of USC, the advantage BYU was giving USC was running the ball. See my post below. The two top USC running backs were averaging nearly 5 ypc the whole game. All the USC coach had to do was keep handing off the ball to them. Instead, he had this crazy idea, like yours, that they had such better athletes at QB and WR and was too committed to his air raid offense that he kept throwing the ball. It didn't end well throwing the ball into max coverage.

I don't think you throw to him unless he's open. If he's getting double or triple-teamed, somebody else is open.
