2008 was Pitta's best year. Who else was on that team on offense????
Austin Collie and Michael Reed played WR. Harvey Unga was the RB, and Fui Vakapuna was the FB. Andrew George was the other TE.
Do you think maybe teams couldn't double-team as much that year? Maybe, just maybe, Pitta got the numbers he did IN PART because there were a lot of offensive weapons on that team that defenses had to account for. Plus, he was really good too, and had a decent NFL career.

I don't think you throw to him unless he's open. If he's getting double or triple-teamed, somebody else is open.
