One of the cool things about adoption is to discover the talents that my kids have, that I could never have given them. For example, I have one adopted son who has sweet dance moves and is way more athletic than either my husband or myself. Because they are adopted, none of them have the massively strong muscular calves that everyone in my family gets, even the girls. (They are lucky, trust me.) For everything you miss not having bio kids, you get back amazing surprises, too.
