...knowing that some kids would leave - they had to look at it as if they were giving kids in foster care a look through a window of what life could be like for them. A window of what it's like to be in a home with loving parents and the absence of abuse and neglect. Something the kids could take with them and look back on as they became adults themselves, and hopefully be able to pattern their lives on. If nothing more, just to give them hope of what they can make of their lives.
