3 of our 6 are adopted

Our first 3 were adopted as infants.  We have had challenges with each of them, but they are doing very well.  We also have challenges with our 3 non-adopted children.  However, we know all of our children are supposed to be in our family and we have had miracles with each & every one of them that still amaze my wife & I to this day.

Each of our adopted children have strengths & weaknesses and we have tried to blend them in with our own strengths and weaknesses.  Oldest just graduated from HS and is doing a welding certification program and working full time - we hope he eventually serves a mission.  2nd is a straight A student & excels in drama (both on & off the stage). 3rd is as feisty of a 10 year old as you could imagine, who someday wants to play soccer for BYU.  If she keeps up her determination, she very well could.

While we have trials with all our children, I wouldnt trade them for anything.  I have a brother in law who is 100% normal who is adopted, and know lots of other really good people who are adopted and who have adopted.  One of my best friends has now adopted 6, several from Africa & 2 from China.  They have their own challenges & blessings but wouldnt change it for anything either.

Best wishes to you & your wife in this decision, but how much love could you & your home provide any children who wouldnt get that same love & attention elsewhere?
