This is exactly right. I actually just added up the total 2 year cost, and I was fine with it. The small annoyances
of YouTube TV and other streaming services got on my nerves. I'm fine paying more for the exact product I want. Life is too short.
Things I like about DirecTV:
-The dedicated 30 second skip button on my remote is key for me, especially for sports.
-Being able to skip every single commercial, no matter what is great. Especially with the 30 second skip button. Everyone kept telling me I was doing YouTube TV wrong because all commercials can be skipped. Well, not in my experience. My recording would be replaced with the On Demand version, Discovery Channel shows, certain networks, etc. etc. etc. So freaking annoying. And when I could skip commercials, there wasn't a single button on my remote that skipped at 30 second intervals.
-Being able to see TV listings in an easy to see format, and into the next few weeks is good.
-All the channels I wanted were available.
