I see your point.
But I do think it is an indication that BYU knows it needs to pay more for quality coaches. Now whether that money is coming from BYU or form the donors would be very telling. And certainly we aren't paying "market" rate for coaches.
But I don't think BYU is sealing the purse strings and being super cheap either.
