And neither did Utah but they made a big deal out of a PWO. Maybe BYU thought he could get a scholly
some place else and didn't want to do anything to prevent him from going for one or just knew he wouldn't get much opportunity and didn't want to string him along thinking otherwise. Who knows but this thread has gone way over board with little giving the benefit of the doubt to anyone associated with BYU over a kicker not getting a PWO.
