I think the BYU experience is something worthwhile...
and should be a selling point by BYU coaches. There are things that only can be gained by going there but the question is do those things more than compensate by things that are better at other places, and yes there are things at other places that are better.
That’s why I say if you have a kid in that situation BYU is not automatically the best option, in fact it may not be the best option at all for that kid.
But you really only find that out when you’re in that situation.
