I got there to the stadium like 4 hours before the game started, it had snowed a little but for the most part it was fairly dry. I remember arriving and NOBODY was there... in fact I walked up to the front gate and Val Hale was running up to the stadium and he said to me, "You here for the game?" And I said yes and then asked where everyone was... and he said something like everyone will be here.
All I remember is, that by Halftime you could barely see the field it was snowing so hard, and we were getting pasted. John Beck broke his hand or something... I think we ran through 3 QB's that night.
I don't remember the seeing the sprinklers on at all. But I do remember that Crowton asked that the LSU game be changed out for the Boise game... and I remember saying after the game that if we are going to get throttled, I'd rather get throttled by LSU instead of Boise State.
