Not uncommon to have sprinklers run for a few minutes before a match.
Went to Bayern-Munich match v Hoffenheim last week and they turned the sprinklers on for about 5 minutes after warm ups and again before 2nd half. Supposedly makes the game quicker and also some think it reduces injuries.
Of course Boise St wouldn't know this.
