What is likely to happen, if CFP expands,
is that the P5 conferences will get an auto bid and the remains three berths will be a-large. One-loss P5s will always be seeded higher than undefeated G5.
Historically, the power conferences have strengthened their power when a major shift, in the SOP, occurs. I don't expect any different outcome, if expansion becomes a reality.
