Usu beat Utah since Utah entered the pac12...
they won in 2012, for these purposes modern time frame is more important. Since joining the pac12 it is 2-1 I’m favor of Utah with Utah’s two wins being fairly close.
The point is that Utah has lost to usu recently. If you want to take it back 25 years like you did you’ll find BYU’s record against usu to be better than Utah’s.
Utah does lose to bad teams on occasion. Yes Utah is better than byu at this present time but they are hardly anything elite and lose to some bad teams on occasion. They’ve lost to Arizona a lot the last few years, they’ve lost to Oregon st, they lost to Colorado when Colorado sucked, they lost to usu, they’ve lost to cal, they’ve lost to WSU when WSU was not good.
I understand the narrative is “pac12 = better no matter what” but that really isn’t true, just look at the pac12’s record against the MWC this year.
