I don't buy that crap from PK. This was a great win for BYU, HUGE win for
Kalani. Yes...the Boise win was fantastic for BYU. I loved it. Especially with all-new starts at QB and RB. Big win.
But this idea that Utah can't celebrate victories or enjoy the season unless we end up in the Rose Bowl is nonsense.
If Utah finishes at 10-2 or 9-3 but loses out on the south and heads to the Alamo Bowl, it's a fantastic season. Period. Guys like PK and the BYU base will go on and on about what a disappointment it is, etc.
Guys like that just show how little they know about CFB. For example, right now, the only teams ranked ahead of Utah are all blue blood programs. Deep pockets with massive fan bases, decades of history and 4/5 star recruits.
Utah has none of that. It's been a fantastic season. Beating ASU was a huge win.
