“Some” USU kids can’t get into BYU. “Some” can, but without a scholarship.
Others can both get in and have a scholarship. My point is that there are all types. And yes, there are some programs that may be more attractive at Utah State than BYU.
Clearly BYU is a “better” academic school in general. I don’t think anyone argues that it isn’t, which is why it’s odd that BYU graduates spend so much time convincing everyone.
Finally, I had an ROTC scholarship to both schools, so while I didn’t get an academic scholarship to BYU I could have gone for free anyway and still chose not to. And it was a fantastic decision, both then and now with the benefit of hindsight.

For USU it isn't anti-LDS bias. It's 3 decades of watching BYU have all the limelight meanwhile the Aggies sunk into
