success, the ultimate level is where You stand in the line that goes from best to worst.

You know what jas made college football worse, it isnt the playoffs, it has been the proliferation of bowl games. Meaningless participation trophies that feature pathetic matchups of teams where the loser will end up with a losing recod on the year. Pathetic!

Sports is about competing and seeing who is best at a particular game. Sure you can acknowledge nice accomplishments along the way, but nice accomplishments are only meaningful by comparing them to how they stack up against the very best.
