He's a RS Freshman? I'd stay next year, try to graduate ASAP, and consider a

grad transfer as a Junior if I didn't like the situation at BYU. By the end of next year he will know if Jaren Hall will be finished with football due to concussions, etc.

Then if he transferred he would still have two years of eligibility, and he would potentially be able to choose a prestigious graduate program at the university he transferred to.
