That's what I read somewhere too...if a player is 'cut' the ncaa won't penalize the player for joining another team, which is probably the right policy. Regarding Harward, I wonder if Pope/BYU is leaning on Madsen/UVU to tell the ncaa what BYU wants them (the ncaa) to hear...offering UVU home games, whatever. That would be wrong and what the ncaa would need to police and watch for.

Waivers usually depend on the school the player comes from. If they are ok with it, it is granted. If not, then no.
