I agree overall except the claim that only teams who "don't take BYU seriously" are the ones failing to light it up and destroy us. Really hard to back a made up claim on who is taking byu seriously. That's just a bad attempt at neutralizing all possible credit from BYU.
Stealing both sides of the argument by saying "if they did well against inferior opponents, they don't get credit because those teams are inferior. And if they did ok against better opponents they still don't get credit because the opponents just didn't take them seriously." Really?
Utah, USC, Tennessee, and Boise are all frankly equal or superior and none fit your claim.
Utah put up 16 pts with 7 of those 16 coming on a 22 yd field, and another 3 pts coming on another short field.
Tennessee put up 16 pts in regulation with only one TD.
USC put up 27.
BSU put up 25.
Only one bad game in thre punts category with 38 against UW, with 7 of those on a shorter field after a fumble.
I agree with everything else but that last comment it's flat out wrong.
