Boy and girl: hey you guys are going to Hawaii, no fair we want to go

Mom: well we want to celibate our 1st anniversary with a trip but we can save up and take you all later as a family.

Boy and Girl: yeah that would be awesome

Mom few weeks later : hey got a call from Allstate to settle that accident from a few years ago, guess what, they are sending money for the 4 of us that were in the car.

Boy and girl: hey does that mean we can go to Hawaii???

Oldest girl: how much do i get

Mom: sure we can take you to Hawaii, sounds like a fun trip. Let’s put this with our vacation savings and maybe next spring we can take everyone

Boy and girl: We get to go to Hawaii, we get to fly on a plane, we get to swim with dolphins

Me: well it’s better than putting it away and you blow it on a down payment on some overpriced car when you are 18, let’s do it.
