How does it take away resources from FB?
The men's and womens XC program are run so lean that their budget is roughly equivalent to a typographical error on the football budget. Moreover, the XC teams dont use any of the same facilities as the FB team. So, you want to cut BYU's most successful sports program that has produced Olympians as well as professional athletes for zero material benefit. Nice.
