as Kalani would have been fired after his 4-9 season. I know what went on with the team and I know he completely lost control of them. It was not only a nightmare on the field, but a nightmare in the locker room and a nightmare from an honor code standpoint. Many on here speak of how bad it got under Crowton and it did, but Kalani was worse with the exception of the one major abhorrent issue. (while your star running back being caught with a Frisbee full of weed is bad, it pails in comparison to what happened under Crowton. The scariest part of that incident is that Kalani played said star RB after he knew about the incident, but then stopped when it became public) So if you are asking, I would have fired Sitake long ago.
Now you have Sitake going into this season and certainly have a hope for specific goals. To me, 6 wins is not an appropriate goal for BYU. Now if you wait until (*if) he gets to 8 or 9 wins that is something altogether different. But 6 wins when you have a whole bunch scheduled is not exactly worth extending.
