If they are willing to switch to Utah like that, then I don't see how they were
really BYU fans.
I get being frustrated, I get teams sucking and not wanting to watch, but if you really are a fan or have something vested then you don't switch.
But kids today want to be cool and fit in with people. This will be something that the younger generation struggle with in regards to church membership. Once it becomes cool to be semi-active or you struggle with questions about Joseph Smith, then people go inactive. Sad part is I have already experienced it with my kids.
Hope these kids toughen up and stand up for what they believe in and not what is normal today or what is cool today.
